Diamond Back Fashion's Charity Initiatives
Fashion Fore Hope
When Diamond Back Fashion was just an idea it was our goal for it to be a platform for positive change in the community. Fashion Fore Hope, a charity fashion show, was our first event and initiative to use our resources to help others. With support from many friends, sponsors and designers, Fashion Fore Hope raised $50,000 that was donated to Yonge St. Mission, Dans La Rue Montreal, Community Living in Muskoka and The Native Women’s Shelter. Scroll down to watch a video of highlights of that event.
With Fashion Fore Hope being such a great success we’ve been looking at how and where we can next help make a difference, and are currently working towards setting up a program to help empower people within the Toronto shelter community. We have begun to organize charity events in Toronto that will raise money for the program we want to start in partnership with Yonge St. Mission, and the St. Felix Centre.
